Star Wars AnalysisThings I've come to realize after seeing the new Star Wars.
Unlike the near-superhuman warrior-sages that I imagined as a youth, the Jedi Knights are in reality about as well trained and wise as your average metropolitan volunteer fire department, only with badass laser swords.
The training period for a Sith apprentice is a lot shorter than that for a Jedi...I'm talking like a good 90 minutes on the outside.
The average citizen of the republic is approximately as adept at decision-making as a thirsty Jonestown resident.
Blonde dudes are moody.
People can die just because they're a little bummed out. The medical technology of the future is completely powerless against this.
